Cependant, le b\u00e9ton ordinaire pr\u00e9sente un inconv\u00e9nient majeur : il est fragile et susceptible de se fissurer sous l'effet de la contrainte. Ces fibres sont r\u00e9parties uniform\u00e9ment dans le m\u00e9lange afin d'am\u00e9liorer la t\u00e9nacit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9sistance aux fissures du mat\u00e9riau.<\/p><p>L'objectif principal de l'ajout de fibres n'est pas de remplacer les barres d'armature en acier pour le renforcement de la structure.
